Who we are
InfinAI is an AI consultancy helping small and medium businesses adopt AI in a way that actually works for them. This privacy notice covers how we handle personal data on infinai.uk, including information you share with our AI assistant, Buddy.

What we collect
When you interact with Buddy on our site, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your email address and/or phone number
- Your business name and your role
- The content of your conversation with Buddy
- A session ID and timestamp (used internally to keep the conversation working)
We only collect what you choose to share. You're not required to give us any of this to browse the site.
We do not collect special category data (health, political views, etc.), and we do not use cookies for tracking or advertising on this site.
Why we collect it
We collect this information for one reason: so we can follow up with you about your interest in InfinAI's services. That's it. We don't use it for anything else.
Our legal basis
Under UK GDPR, we rely on legitimate interest as our legal basis for processing this data. Specifically: when you start a conversation with Buddy and share your details, you're indicating an interest in our services, and we have a legitimate interest in following up with you about that.
If you'd rather we didn't, you can ask us to delete your data at any time (see "Your rights" below).
Where it's stored
Your data is stored in Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure within the European Union. It is not transferred outside the EU.
Who we share it with
Nobody. We don't sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or any other purpose.
The only parties who handle your data on our behalf are our infrastructure providers (Supabase and AWS), and they do so under contract, only for the purpose of running our services.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for up to 12 months from your last contact with us. We may delete it sooner if it's no longer needed.
If you become a customer, we'll keep relevant records for as long as we have an active relationship with you, plus any period required for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to how we're processing it
- Withdraw consent or ask us to stop processing at any time
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we've handled your data badly — ico.org.uk

Changes to this notice
If we update this notice, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
